 reports for MacDirectory.

“Back then, Apple won a contract to supply a minimum of 10,000 Macintosh IIx’s configured for Unix plus a NASA contract for 2,500 Macs for the Johnson Space Center in Houston,” Mende

• Multiple Advanced Computers for Hypersonics (MACH5)
• Modeling asteroids for NASA

  3. Remember the ads with the Macs being guarded by tanks when they started using the PowerPC chips that were being blocked from being sold to our enemy. I think Russia and China can get them now!

I assume that they are still infested with those Windows PCs still. Should be a ton of iPads in there by now. Got to have something the next time the Windows PCs are down!
