Apple seeds developers with iOS 4.2 beta 2, iTunes 10.1 beta

Apple today seeded developers with iOS 4.2 beta 2 and iTunes 10.1 beta.

iOS 4.2 beta 2 is build 8C5101c. It covers iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod touch 4th gen, iPod touch 3rd gen, and iPod touch 2nd gen.

iTunes 10.1 beta is intended to support testing of printing from iOS apps and Apple provides developers with versions for Mac OS X, Windows, and Windows 64.

    Appel is who is providing the usually rectangular openings in walls, known as windows, to developers to use with iOS 4.2.

    Seems weird the developers wouldn’t have their own somewhere.

  3. Printing, Multitasking and Open With (already here) are going to radically improve the iPad’s utility as a production device.

    All that’s really left is “Shared Space” so apps can open each others files (without having to email the file between apps).
