Netflix CEO thinks U.S. too ‘self-absorbed’ to notice they’re paying more than Canadians

“It wasn’t just that the onlookers were eager; it was that the onlookers were so eager that drew suspicion,” Santo reports. “Eventually, the information leaked about the actors, and the reception for that news, as opposed to Netflix, was not good.”

  1. It’s sad but true. Most American’s don’t pay attention to anything outside the country. It’s shocking how much Canadians know about America yet American’s seem to have a basic lack of knowledge about Canada. And we’re right next door!

  3. I bet over reaction. In the fact that we get DVD mail and Canada doesn’t which is why they get the cheaper rate. It would be nice to pay $2 less for streaming only though.

    don’t worry that you’re paying more than us – the selection of available movies up here on Netflix Canada is currently TERRIBLE compared to what you can find in the US Netflix site!

    so Canadians are getting a LOT less for the money. believe me, it’s true.
