  1. Actually, TT, it’s the day where corporations and the government trick the little people into thinking they actually give a damn by letting them stay home.

It’ll be back to greasing the wheels tomorrow…

  2. Reeeee,

    Why so negative?

The majority of the world population would do anything to have a job at one these horrible corporations and live in luxury like you do.

What’s horrible is how rotten spoiled people are and how little they appreciate what they have.

  3. “It’ll be back to greasing the wheels tomorrow…”

Yes, to pay for those that stay home all the time….which is how “the government tricks the little people into thinking they actually give a damn by letting them stay home”…to get votes.

  4. “OMG. I really hate all these stupid American holidays…”

If we don’t get rid of these dems and unions, the USA will soon have as much time off as they do in France.

Holidays/holydays- we had better start praying to take back America.

  5. @Tea party,

There has always been some political sniping on MDN; I always presumed it was the same on other blogs. But from my perspective, it went WAY over the top two years ago when it became obvious that the neocons were going to lose the Executive branch, and not have a majority in Congress to compensate.

  6. MDN became a political blog when the Left became Communistic and the Right became Fascistic.

When you couldn’t tell the difference between Left and Right because they both occupied the middle of the road, there wasn’t a problem.

  7. Ron:
The French may may enjoy a lot of time off, but are impressively hard workers on the job. (I’m there right now).

Once again, Apple is making the right move by aggressively going global. The US government has been hollowing out American middle class affluence for most of the last three decades.

  8. Hey, C1
It may be too late for you to kiss Nixon, but you can still kiss Carter who, apparently, is also a real American Hero.

    Hey, maybe y’all can have a Hero sandwich…” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
