“China Unicom is also scheduled to launch the iPhone 4 in early September,” Shanshan and Wei report. “But sources said that the launch date will not be September 13, as was widely reported by the media.”

“China Unicom started to sell the WiFi-enabled iPhone 3GS in China last week, priced at 4,999 yuan. However, Apple’s Beijing store started to sell the device at the same time for 1,000 yuan less. 1. We are always at war. We have been for a very long time. If you believe you are safe does that mean you are safe? Look around and see what is going on in the world.

The iPad does not stream video so it will be available world wide. Put a streaming video camera on it and several governments will block those. China letting the iPhone 4 in is interesting. Will they block the FaceTime feature like they block Google’s search services?

  2. @Al: just see global polls about who is bigger threat — you will find that Pentagon’s hawks are far ahead of anything.

So no, according to polls, Chinese “commies” are not as near as “bastards” than Pentagon/Washington’s higher commandment that oppresses and exploits most of the world with its countless military bases everywhere and corporate abuse of local markets.

(No, I personally do not think that USA is Evil Empire, but third world countries had their reasons to think so, unfortunately. This is even more unfortunate than it seems since common Americans never really voted for that policy of abuse which was implemented in the world on their behalf during decades and thus made most of the world hate and fear them.)
