Analysts’ consensus estimates currently call for Apple to report $3.10 EPS on $14.74 billion in revenue. On April 20, 2010, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer guided for ” revenue in the range of about $13.0 billion to $13.4 billion” and “diluted earnings per share in the range of about $2.28 to $2.39.”

This has been one bumpy ride of late. Very tempted to buy a bunch more today, in expectation that they will blow away the whisper numbers tomorrow.
Apple’s overly cautious talk of their financial future always seems to squash any short term gains in their stock after these calls.
Uncle Al, my observant guess is that you can buy AAPL “on sale” any time in the next few weeks. The BS presentation Jobs made Friday was not well received (saying “everyone’s smartphones lose signal strength if held wrong” is a crappy excuse for being no better than the competition).
