Barack Obama – Organizing for America app launches for Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

Barack Obama | Organizing for America and The Democratic Party (Democratic National Committee) today announced the following, verbatim:

Organizing for America has an ambitious plan to reach out to voters this election season and—through the Vote 2010 campaign—reconnect with the millions of people who were inspired to participate in the political process for the first time in 2008.

OFA is building on the movement that elected President Obama by empowering communities across the country to get involved in the issues they care most about, and fight for candidates who will stand with the President.

With the Organizing for America App for iPhone and iPad, you can stay up to date—and involved—no matter where you are.

Using the Call Congress feature, you can make your voice heard on the issues that matter to you. Want to do more? Find your local events in your area and connect with other OFA supporters.

  1. I find it a little distasteful / disturbing that Apple seems to have no problem approving political candidate endorsement apps, yet rejects apps that are inherently critical of politicians.

  2. @Mac4lfe

See the Problem with your type is what America is striving to rid itself of, You are so full of yourself and hate you can’t see past what is considered truth, and the to add to the mix you need to belittle anything your small one sided mind cant seem to understand nor want to.

Keep your hate to yourself & get facts then running on pure nonsense, Do your own research then believing the Cable networks garbage.

Problem is People like you are so lazy they refuse to “Recheck” What the Cable News Pendants report, Over 80% is Ratings Bait.

You are aware that Cable News Networks can lie, They are under “NO REGULATION” to tell the truth and can Spin anything anyway they like.

Knowledge is Power, But “FOOL’S” like you are the Demise of this Once great Country.

  3. Gwad, really? I mean……wtf. Failed to get the economy happening, continues to be clueless on the Oil Spill, and the wars we have happening. Spends most his time fundraising and golfing.

Job one for him should have been to get the economy working, not by hiking taxes on people who make the jobs.

Anyone who is already in there I’m voting out, regardless of party.

  4. sometimes I think the large majority of MDN posters are neo-con (read:idiots) in that they hate all the same things: peace, love, women, gays, minorities, education, arts, reading, empathy, open minds, beauty, intelligence, grace, true freedom and love; hate, narrow-minded hicks, racism, ugliness, being fat and stupid, gas guzzling hummers, rudeness, being annoying, talking points, killing people, fox news, bud light lime, cowboy hats, war, big pharma and industrial farming…

wow, sometimes I think being a fat ugly neo-con war criminal Repub. would be so much easier! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
