Apple board member Al Gore accused of being a ‘crazed sex poodle’ in police statement

invisibleSHIELD case for iPad“In a bizarre statement to police, the Oregon woman who claims that Al Gore fondled and groped her during a massage session described the former Vice President as a giggling ‘crazed sex poodle’ who gave a ‘come hither’ look before pouncing on her in a Portland hotel suite,” The Smoking Gun reports. “In a taped January 2009 interview with cops, the 54-year-old woman, a licensed masseuse whose name has been redacted from police records, read from a lengthy prepared statement that detailed her alleged October 2006 encounter with Gore at the Hotel Lucia.”

“In December 2006, a lawyer for the woman told police about the purported encounter, but after the masseuse cancelled three interview appointments, the case was closed due to her refusal to ‘cooperate with the investigation or even report a crime,'” The Smoking Gun reports. “It is unclear why, two years later, she approached Portland police and sought to memorialize her allegations against Gore, who she portrayed as a tipsy, handsy predator who forced her to drink Grand Marnier, pinned her to a bed, and forcibly French kissed her.”

The Smoking Gun reports, “After fleeing Gore’s suite, the woman returned home to discover, a la Lewinsky, ‘stains on the front of my black slacks.’ Suspecting that the stains were Gore bodily fluids, the woman made sure not to clean them. ‘I carefully hung them up and decided to be sure not to launder them until I knew more what to do with what had happened. Just my intuition.'”

MacDailyNews Note: UPDATE: 1:44pm EDT: Anytime an Apple Board Member does something or is accused of doing something of note, we will cover it, as we always have, regardless of the board member(s) in question, especially, but not exclusively, when a sizable number of MacDailyNews readers send us links from multiple sites that are also covering the story.

As we have long stated on our contact page: “Our mission is to scour the Web for articles that interest Mac and Apple product users, remark on the content of these articles, provide news about Apple Inc. and their products, and to opine about all things related to Apple and the Mac. Most importantly, MacDailyNews exists to provide a place for our readers and the Mac community to discuss these daily news items in their own words with real-time feedback.”

Our mission remains unchanged.

  1. And just how is this related to reports of iPhone problems and Google apps ‘catching up” articles currently appearing? Just how is this related to technology, particularly Apple, other than the fact that your hatred of Al Gore and your conservative agenda trumps all reason and objectivity? Just why is this even mentioned here?

You’re losing it, folks. You’re painting a self-portrait that in itself deserves to be ridiculed as you lose credibility and expose your flaws. How are you to be trusted as a voice of reason concerning the Mac or anything Apple now? The expression “Fair and balanced” is a joke to most of us, as you must know. It is a point of view involving a frequent disregard for facts. This sleazy gossip is unbecoming.

  2. Kiss and Tell, snitch and bitch, drop a dime on your neighbor, informant, whistle blower jerks is nothing to be proud of and is as telling of the squeelers as it is of their stories…

There’s reason they they usually don’t survive a day in jail….

  3. This has so little to do with worthwhile Apple issues. But since you posted it, I’d say Bill is a lot better at this than Al. I mean, a clumsy failed attempt with a 54-year old “masseuse,” versus a spirited reciprocal romp with a 20-something intern.

  4. I get the mental picture of a terry bathrobed Gore(cause who want to picture him naked) humping this womans leg.

With that said, if the woman doesn’t want to prosecute then there is no real story here. And even with jizzed pants there is no evidence of rape after 2years, and therefore no real chance of this going forward.

Ladies, and Lads I suppose, if you are sexually assulted you need to immediatly contact the athorities, do not “clean up” till after the rape kit is done, your story has been told, and the perp is caught or on the run.

Waiting 2years allows the guilty to get away with only the occational negitive news story for punishment.

  5. … if she is aware that DNA can tell the difference between two different donors? Even after it’s been degrading in her closet for several years?
Her story wasn’t too unbelievable until she claimed he “forced her to drink Grand Marnier”. Umm … seriously? And … the stain on the pants? Sounds more like a sober teen than a semi-drunk (or actually drunk!) middle-aged man. And, while I can appreciate the charms of some 50+ year old women, most are kidding themselves. The story is bogus, even if some parts are “true”.

  6. Off-topic and posts from suspected astroturfers will be removed. (MDN forum rules quoted from above)

So, the topic here is Al Gore.

MDN has swiftly deleted several posts of mine in this thread because I had questioned their reasoning behind posting articles that are obvious political click bait.

There is absolutely nothing related to Apple in this article (other than Al Gore being an Apple board member). Sure enough, the political slug fest ensued, undoubtedly to MDN’s satisfaction (whatever gets clicks).

These types of stories have become much more frequent in recent months, and that has chased away several long-time readers and contributors (intelligent ones, too).

Show of hands, how many people here actually come for the political slant and subsequent discussion?

How many would rather MDN just delete this whole story, together with all our messages?

How many seconds until MDN deletes this message as well…?
