RUSH (June 23): I’m minding my own business, folks, and trying to serve humanity and be America’s Real Anchorman, but last night on the Fox News Channel, on the record with Greta Van Susteren.
SUSTEREN: Rush Limbaugh is very rich, very famous, and very powerful. So he must be able to get anything he wants, right? Apparently not.
RUSH ARCHIVE (Tuesday, June 22): People are getting their iPhone 4s today. Yes, the official launch date’s not ’til Thursday, but some people are getting their iPhone 4s today. It’s random customers. They’re getting them today, and a lot of people are reporting that their FedEx tracking information shows delivery tomorrow. And here I sit — a powerful, influential member of the media — and my hands are empty. No iPhone 4! I’m not going to get mine tomorrow. I couldn’t get in. Remember, I spent all day here during the program trying. At home, I have three other people or four other people trying to get through to make an order to the website. No, didn’t happen.
RUSH (June 23): Yet I got here this morning, and FedEx shows up around — what time was it, Snerdley, 9:30? Snerdley opens the box and for those of you watching on the Dittocam, look what I got? A day early. Yeah. Fascinating? Yeah. Right. Right there it is. I’m holding it in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers of my left hand. You can see it right there if you’re watching on the Dittocam. It is just good to be me, folks. What can I say?

Got mine, then immediately convinced Best Buy to caugh up some screen protectors.
Smart move, Apple… more free media coverage. Probably shipped from Cupertino (taken from inventory of the Palo Alto Apple Store) overnight delivery, instead of from the factory in Asia.
Speaking of media, iPhone 4 fever is everywhere on the news networks today.

Go Rush! While he can be a bit much sometimes, he is right more then he is wrong. I am an X democrat that now sees the democrat party as smart, by a half.
I am not rich or famous and I received all 4 (family plan) of my iPhones today. Sweet! Upgraded and activated in less than 15 minutes.

Rush Limbaugh worked hard and came up from being a middle class college dropout to a powerful, multi-millionaire media personality. He is the personification of the American dream, honing special talents with an entrepreneurial spirit to create an empire.
Hate him or love him, that’s what being an owner of Apple products is all about. You work hard to afford these things. You sacrifice and you sweat. And then you can afford to buy the best. It’s not a lifestyle for the weak; the weak are drowning in debt and looking for the cheapest PC or Android phone they can get their hands on.
He might be rich and famous but he just made a bad decision on buying a iPhone 4 instead of a Windows Phone 7.

Got mine today. And it’s broke. Screen looks like an old tv set. Got appointment tonight apple store said they will replace it tonight. We shall see

I never managed to get in to order through the mail- so I’ll be picking mine up tomorrow at the Apple Store here in Boston. Let’s hope the line ain’t too, too frakkin’ long.
This is horrible publicity for Apple, considering the credibility and utterly despicable stupidity of this Big Fat Idiot. I’m horrified of the Pavlovian effect of using Limbaugh and iPhone in the same sentence.
I’d rather go Android than have my iPhone conjure up images of either Rush Vomitface or Fox news.
