Apple has issued the following announcement regarding scheduled MobileMe maintenance:
Maintenance – 6/17/2010, 22:00 – 6/18/2010, 00:00 PT
Due to scheduled maintenance, MobileMe members will be unable to access MobileMe applications at me.com.
Access to MobileMe will still be available on desktop applications, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Normal service is expected to be restored at the end of the maintenance window. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Forgive me for screaming.
FIX IDISK SYNCING PROBLEMS!
Thank you.
Perhaps big update and prep for iPhone 4?
Strange time for “maintenance”.
Perhaps it’s time to announce the ‘Basic’ and ‘Full’ membership plans (basic beeing free)?
MobileMe mail has been acting like a 100 year old geezer this week.
Let’s hope that they can get some faster running gerbils to power the servers.
they are firing up the servers in North Carolina in the data center they recently completed – get ready for super fast MobileMe tomorrow!!!
Yep, looks like an update is on the way to me.
Maybe Apple is bringing the Carolina server farm online for the release of the iPhone4 at the end of the month.
It is good to see that Apple may have stopped trying to do all of the up grades at the same time on the same day. They have to bring that billion dollar server farm online at some time this year. Today would be a good day to do that.
See even Apple can learn from history.
and so it begins, SKYNET comes online.
Updating to what is currently the beta I’d wager. Very iPad like in its implementation, which is definitely not a bad thing.

Watch out for those time displacement spheres… ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
Maybe they’ll fix iChat to work with FaceTime.
Maybe they will make mobile me free .
@Randy
Maybe they’ll make mobile me work!
I kid because I love.
Maybe they will give us all new cars.
Hopefully apple will make it free, in time for the iOS4 update. Maybe this is a step forward for apple to offer the iOS4 free for ipod touch and mobile me. Fingers Crossed
Maybe they are putting in the new Mail interface…
Hmmm, or maybe they are prepping for the iPhone 4 release and an increase in userbase…
Mobile(free)Me
@bananamonkey:
Ahh, but when will it become self-aware??
Peace.

MobileMe was updated. http://www.macdaddynews.com/?p=4181
Maybe one day MobileMe will work. Yahoo mail alone absolutely DESTROYS MobileMe’s mail. When has Yahoo mail never been available? How about never? i’ve used it 5 years without so much as a hick up. MobileMe cant go 1 month without a nightmare.
