Chinese clone of unreleased Apple 4G iPhone debuts (with photo)

“When the first images of a the next generation iPhone was released in April, the first reaction of many readers was that it must be a iPhone counterfeit or clone from China,” Arnold Kim reports for MacRumors. “As more details emerged, it become clear that the leaked phone was definitely an Apple prototype and ultimately returned to Apple.”

Kim reports, “Based on the numerous leaks, it appears that the real Chinese counterfeiters have had time to ramp up their efforts and created this 4th generation iPhone clone. This one’s officially called ‘GPS-PHONE’ according to PCOnline.com.cn and offers a number of features including a front facing camera, a TV antenna, mini USB interface, and camera flash.”

  1. Not expecting it to happen, but would be pretty damn cool if Jobs held up something totally different at the big event without so much as a mention of the prototype.

“This is the thinnest iPhone ever,” Jobs says. “You can actually cut your competitors hearts out. It’s magical.”

  2. Jobs should hire Jack Bauer from “24”. His mission:

Infiltrate China. Find the cloner. Kill the cloner. Take the cloned iPhonie.

Message : You don’t F##K with The Steve or Jack Bauer.

If Bauer can retrieve a swallowed phone sim card from a Russion, he can do this.

If that is too much : Sue the h@ll out of them & do not manufacture any Apple products in China!
