  1. U2 (palm) traitors put an end to celebrity spokespeople.

Apple is the brand, the product is the star and it is its own celebrity spokesman.

Lady Gaga could use the next iPhone, if she’s lucky, in a post-Apple announcement appearance or video, but that’s the most I’d expect.

P.s. She’s so ugly. Face. Ugly. Yes, I’m superficial. I like pretty things. shebeuglyy

  2. Let’s see…

    iPhone Porn = NO

iPhone Suggestive Dancer wearing Limited Clothing spokesperson = OKAY!

At least she will have PC and Mac guy frying their circuit boards and saying…

Oh, oh, Oh, oh, Ah, ah, Ah, ah, Oh, oh, Oh, Ah, ah, Ah, ah…

  3. The original article has several simple facts wrong. Gaga is not 23 years old; she is 24. Also, her tour is sponsored by Virgin Mobile, so I don’t see how she can endorse two different mobile phones at once.

  4. Say what you will about Lady Gaga, but she can move some music. In fact she broke chart records in America by becoming the first artist in the 17-year history of the Billboard Pop Songs countdown to score four number ones from the same DEBUT album (The Fame). Since the Pop Songs chart debuted in 1992, two artists prior to Lady Gaga had landed three number ones from debut albums – Ace of Base and Avril Lavigne. All this *before* her monster hits “Bad Romance” and “Telephone” from her current The Fame Monster album.

  5. My my my my my my my my my iPhone…

The last thing Apple needs right now is to be associated with a circus sideshow pop music act, regardless of how popular or successful that act may be. Are there some overlaps in demographic? Of course. Does that mean there should be an official association? Of course not.
