Apple’s WWDC 2010 sells out in eight days

invisibleSHIELD case for iPad“On the eve of its Worldwide Developers Conference in a few weeks, the ‘Sold Out’ button went live tonight on its official Web site,” Jim Goldman reports for CNBC.

“Not bad, considering Apple only announced the date for the event a mere 8 days ago,” Goldman reports.

“So while big trade shows like CES are doing whatever they can to lure in attendees, Apple will be turning them away,” Goldman reports.

    Yeah, only 5 weeks to book a Domestic flight. Steve Jobs burn in hell for your presumption that Computer Geeks can figure out how to buy plane tickets online with 40 days notice.

  2. Mike, true, it’s easy for people like you to work on short notice because you just have to tell your mom that you won’t be down for meals, and then you go. But actual professional development teams have schedules, and make commitments months in advance. You’ll learn eventually after your mom kicks you out of the house.

    It’s not a trade show.

    I gotta admit, I was surprised that Apple had it for that week. The rumor mills were saying that it was going to be at the end of June, so I had some tentative plans for early June. Nothing that can’t be cancelled, mind you, but still a nuisance.
