FileMaker launches free Business Productivity Kit with 30-Day trial download of new FileMaker Pro 11

    I agree, and even then the updates are abysmal and very, very expensive each time. What’s more amazing is the fact that no mobile version has been brought out for the iPhone & Ipod Touch yet, after all this time. Bento and FMTouch are useless for business, see the reviews. Filemaker is a business app, why no mobile version.

    Apple abandoned the old Filemaker Mobile that I used to use on my old Palm, that was a great program. A new FM Mobile and a revamped iCal would make the iPhone complete for me (and millions of others I daresay). Come on Apple, give FM enough development funds to do the job properly, not some half baked Bento.

  2. FM need to make a Business Productivity kit specifically tailored to the small Med office- Optician or Dentist.

    The software those poor schmucks get stuck with is crap. And it’s potentially a huge market.
