  1. @Tommy Boy –
I agree, and even then the updates are abysmal and very, very expensive each time. What’s more amazing is the fact that no mobile version has been brought out for the iPhone & Ipod Touch yet, after all this time. Bento and FMTouch are useless for business, see the reviews. Filemaker is a business app, why no mobile version.

Apple abandoned the old Filemaker Mobile that I used to use on my old Palm, that was a great program. A new FM Mobile and a revamped iCal would make the iPhone complete for me (and millions of others I daresay). Come on Apple, give FM enough development funds to do the job properly, not some half baked Bento.

  2. FileMaker as Steve would say was created during old desktop era. It’s no more relevant. Use web technologies. Something open like MySQL or other…

  3. FM need to make a Business Productivity kit specifically tailored to the small Med office- Optician or Dentist.

The software those poor schmucks get stuck with is crap. And it’s potentially a huge market.
