MacDailyNews Take: And the countdown begins: 10…

  1. Marks the beginning of another round of hysteria with just one thing in common – claims that it is some kind of computer when it’s not any kind of computer.

Oh, and the heralding of a magical future in, as Apple says, ‘computation’. Whatever the hell that is.

  2. Does it compute things? Then it’s a computer. Decades ago, people who did math by hand were called “computers”. So yes, it is a computer. As is my iPhone, a calculator, and probably the key fob for my Mercedes.

  3. But what about being able to “Reserve” it at a local store for the 30th, like people did for the WiFi-only model? I don’t see a Reserve option on Apple’s website, only “PreOrder”.

  4. @Markito

Unfortunately, you cannot reserve it like you did the wifi model. I researched that when the initial pre-orders were being taken, only to come to the discovery that the reserve pick-up was not going to be available for the 3G version ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”hmmm” style=”border:0;” />

  5. “magical” iPad ? We all love the iPad but you, MDN,
have to take a deep breath and calm down. Don’t
worry, you’ll be alright. We all have been through
