After “Craig’s Spanish Word of the Day,” Apple Genius Betty White stops by CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to chat about iPad:

MacDailyNews Take: The fact that they bothered to carefully cover the Apple logo (that everybody knows is there, logo tapers!) when Betty’s bit includes an Apple-logoed (however backwards and unbitten it may be) shirt is either just plain silly. What do you think, intentional or unintentional joke?
Betty White rulz!
BTW: The iPad wannabes will get the same type of treatment on the first Tuesday after never.

Best sitcom ever!
The Apple logo on the shirt doesn’t look accurate.
So hot…!
Betty White does, in fact, rule.
LOL, the Apple logo’s “stem” is pointing the wrong way (I’m sure that was intentional too).
Haha… When Craig asks why she was working a the Genius Bar… “I saw the word BAR.”
Great, funny lady. God I hope she lasts until the SNL episode she’s hosting.
We need more Betty Whites
Awesome routine…. Betty still has it!
That Allen Ludden was a lucky guy.
Yawn, a somewhat predictable script but nevertheless positive airtime for Apple.
She’s still got it.
Ya just can’t buy this kinda of promo…Go Betty Go, this is priceless.
Yep. Stem is facing the wrong way; and there’s no “bite”.
I’ve come to enjoy Craig. He doesn’t take himself or his show seriously, calling it “crap – for those who can’t afford basic cable”, himself a “douche”, his audience “Canadian hobos”, and mocking the “cheap bastards” at CBS. Often completely silly, at his best when he goes off on wild unscripted tangents.
And, oh yeah. “It’s a great day for America everybody.”
Betty rocks.
Great Bit!
My Fans are still slowly winding down from that short venture into Flash though.
Gotta luv Betty!
Also have to say that Craig has been growing on me of late. He didn’t impress at first, but there’s something about him that’s more comfortable and pleasant than either Leno or Dave. (And I used to be a Letterman fan.)
The logo’s the modified wrong way for the same reason we sometimes see reversed videos in stock footage. They reverse logos and trademarks to avoid hassles from competitors who would claim just too much exposure of a brand. Check out the B-52s “Roam” video for the there reversed video showing a ATOYOT.
Which one Silver? G. G. or MTM. I just bought season six, geez I don’t remember MTM being so racy when I watched on Saturday nights so many moons ago.
Yeah, they covered the black Apple logo on the back of the iPad with a Dull-like gray circle. Barf.
Betty White! You go girl!
Ewwww – Betty tried to slip Craig the tongue!
The usual routine is to watch Jay and Dave do
their stuff ’till the first guest comes on. Then
you go to sleep. Guests push their book,
movie,show and are boring.
Craig Ferguson is an exception. He is, hands
down, the best interviewer on TV. When I have
time to watch his show, I make it a point to
watch it all and see how he interacts with his
guests. I can’t explain it (too lazy) you have
to watch. He is superb.
Craig was good on Red Dwarf as Lister’s confidence in the episode “Confidence and Paranoia” too!
Sorry, but the best interviewer on TV, IMHO, is George Stromboulopolis on CBC’s The Hour. By a mile.
His guests have included David Frost and Larry King, awesome interviews.
Betty White rulz!!!
