“According to Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty… Apple’s manufacturing partners now expect to ship 2.5 million iPads between Mar-May, considerably ahead of her previous estimate of 750,000 for the June quarter,” John Paczkowski reports for AllThigsD.
“What’s more, they’re now forecasting shipments of 8-10 million iPads in calendar 2010, considerably more than prior expectations of 5+ million,” Paczkowski reports.

Kathy has been wrong everytime!
as always, kathy is clueless. $250? that’s a trailing ex-cash P/E of 14, forward P/E of 12. for a growth stock? ridiculous.
for reference amzn has a trailing p/E of 66
boy, has she changed her tune….
She has no tune. She only speaks through her rear end.
wow. that’s aggressive.
Apple only sells about 12 million Macs per year.
They already sold out of the entry level. Many people are holding off for more memory and / or the 3G features. We saw that in the sales of the iPhone. If Apple only sells “8-10 million iPads” it is because they couldn’t get any more made!
How many Windows PC Netbooks did they sell last year? Who would buy one of those old school spyware virus riddled when they could get an iPad?
Sounds like she’s in the ballpark on the 2010 iPad number.
It’s like, I don’t even know you, Katy.
Wait.. oh yeah, never mind.
