  1. I love it and its SNAPPY on my MBP.

Best browser for Windows also, as long as your not locked in and forced to access sites requiring Active-x, Sharepoint or full functionality with .asp, .net MS internet monopolizing technologies.

  2. @Connor MacBook,
Sure, there are third party plugins. A number of them are even accessible through Apple’s website. They go into the “Internet Plug-Ins” file in the Library located in your Home Folder. I have several, such as ClickToFlash and one for WebEx. They’re not as big a deal on Safari as they are on Firefox, but they’re there.

  3. Hmm, hope this fixes the problem where some plugin called ‘Sparkle’ keeps crashing Safari. Anyone know what ‘Sparkle’ is? If I don’t need it I’ll just get rid.

  4. It crashed my iMac twice last night.
    Reboot didn’t help.
Repair permissions and reboot didn’t help.
Resetting power management finally stopped it.

I have no idea why that worked.
Maybe the third reboot was a charm….

  5. The one thing I’d like to see in Safari (which I believe Firefox has) is the ability to save your last session. I usually have like 16 tabs open at any given time. If Safari crashes I have to go back and re-open all of them. It takes a few minutes and kind of sucks. Otherwise Safari is the best!! My only other issue is that Safari seems to be a memory hog which I don’t notice as much in Firefox. It could just be any Flash player stuff that’s running though.
