I’ll check it out after the initial rush… the regular rush will be sufficient for me…
Interesting detail: Opening hours are
Monday to Wednesday 10:00 – 20:00
Thursday to Saturday 10:00 – 21:00
That’s a bit unusual, but can make quite a bit of sense.
No free concert tickets >j<
Looks more like a Cold Stone Creamery. A bit weird.
This is what MS was praying for when they opened their copy cat stores… MS prayers were never answered. hehe
How are those microsoft stores doing?
They’re still doing the rain dance
color me stupid, but if they aren’t giving away free stuff, why stand in line just to go into another (new) Apple store? it will be lot easier the second day … this is fun?
That’s quite a nice shade of stupid you are wearing, John.
Remember: they are Germans and therefor not to be trusted.
@ John
2 Stupid John!
What color of Stupid are you, John 2?
Who is the girl on the second floor?
This is truly remarkable.
For those making snide comments about Microsoft, they’ve only started, just like Apple Store concept took its time before becoming a worldwide phenomenon. You have to start somewhere, even against all odds as Apple has clearly shown the path.
Whether or not MS stores can make it, it is certainly besides Apple’s major concerns right now, I’d imagine. I think success can be measured by other than just the monetary units, and Apple has cornered both the innovative front as well as the consumer mind-space where scores of people are voting with their eager wallets. It’s not the buildings nor the service that MS should concentrate on copying, but acquiring an actual visionary leader with an original philosophy might be in order.
At this point, Apple is simply playing on its own league and not on Autopilot, yet.
I can’t think of another institution (non-religious) that pulled off this level of success while defying the conformity over decades.
