Analysts’ consensus estimates currently call for Apple to report $2.04 EPS on $11.98 billion in revenue. On October 19, 2009, Apple CFO Peter Oppenheimer guided for “revenue in the range of about $11.3 billion to $11.6 billion” and “diluted earnings per share in the range of about $1.70 to $1.78.”
The webcast link for the conference call will be posted on or before Monday, January 25, 2010 here.
Wow, talk about the ole one-two punch:
First, on the 25th, Apple will announce their record-setting sales of iPod touch and iPhones, Macs, and laptops for Q1 2010, then on the 26th they will host their media event, hopefully announcing their new tablet product.
This should be a very good week to invest in Apple – buy now at 210; it will be near 230 by the end of the week. And I’m no Jim Cramer.
Farewell, Pre. Bye bye Droid. How’s that slight stinging on your bum feel, Sergey and Larry and Eric?
Tuesday / Wednesday for the Tablet announcement. Shipping to start in March (cough ** March 31 ** ), heavy demand plus a couple of last minute defect fixes push waiting times to mid-May.
correction: tuesday / wednesday of next week
Momentum… wow…
Why not Jan 24th?
On January 24th 2010, Apple will introduce…
@ Rob,
Because the 24th is a Sunday. Last I checked the stock market isn’t open on Sunday. Maybe things have changed since last week though.
1.70 – 1.78 per share? Maybe if you don’t include the iPhone ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
Yerba Buena Center rented for “several days”
How about this?
Earnings from the stage on the 25th with more than the usual earnings stuff (stock split, dividend, large acquisition, etc.)
New laptops, iPhone 4.0 OS/SDK, other stuff on the 26th
iSlate (or whatever) stuff on the 27th.
In other words, a fully stuffed, multi-day event
Apple longs fight the manipulators – buy now and leave them scrambling for cover
well, i’m not sure, but i think january 24th (1984?!) was kind of a special date.
