FOXNews: ‘Big’ Apple event confirmed for January, focused on ‘mobility space’

“Following a Financial Times report that Apple has scheduled a special media event for January 26th in San Francisco, I’ve spoken to a source inside Apple who confirmed a ‘big’ event for January,” Clayton Morris reports for FOXNews.com.

“While nothing official has been handed down from the notoriously tight-lipped company, my source took the Financial Times report one step further by saying this event will focus on the mobility space,” Morris reports.

  1. I think it would be fitting if Apple simply announced a new version of iWork that was cloud-based at their “big event” in January. All the analysts and experts could then explain why their sources and research proved to be full of crap.

  2. Question: Do we think the tablet will be strictly 3G and tied to a carrier? Or will it be like the iPod touch and only wireless? Or a combination of both? My point is this……. will a tablet be tied only to a cellular carrier??? If so, that would be the STUPIDEST move Apple Inc. could make.

  3. I predict no “tablet” or whatever. Stock will tumble. Future of Apple will be announced as grim. End of all mankind will be predicted. Zune Tang will be elected president after Obama is impeached. Dell will become most innovative company in the industry. Oh excuse me, must have been bad egg nog!

  4. Not sure if you are serious about that, but if you are, just the fact that you use their own marketing slogan in your description of them makes your opinion completely suspect.

I could repeatedly you I’m 9 feet tall yet but that wouldn’t be true either.

  5. possibly new cpus for macbook pros? i would buy one even with the core 2 duo cpus if the 15″ had a higher res 1680×1050 or even better 1920×1080/1200. iv seen crappy lookin laptos out there with fhd screens in 15″

Your logic is completely invalid on both your “evidence” as well as your analogy. Fox News is balanced, even Hilary admitted that Fox gave her the best and most fair treatment during the election and conservatives hate Hilary.

Yes great reporting, calling it a terrorist fist bump when Obama gives his wife a pound; something that people do and have done around the country for more than 10 years…. Next thing you know, if he gives someone a high five, they will claim it’s a sleeper cell signal. Fox news spews unintelligent, un-vetted, purposely dense rhetoric for the sake of ratings and pushing an obviously one sided agenda. Nothing more, nothing less.

  8. @Michael Perry

Hahahaha, THAT’S the best argument you have against Fox for being “bad”? What about all the news networks that don’t report about the man beaten by SEIU employees? What about them not reporting about how clause in the health bill that it can never be modified or repealed? The media is unfathomably biased and corrupt, Fox is simply a light of in a dark world. People who actually care about doing their job right.

Can you IMAGINE what the other networks would have said if such “stories”, as you claim, had involved Bush instead? We’d never hear the end of it. The media is supposed to be objective, questioning both sides of every story. You can’t call them biased every time they report on anything that makes Obama look bad. Get a grip.

  9. “Fox News is the best. The others aren’t even close.”

    Are there others?

    ron,

You’ve really got to learn how to use that remote?

I’m assuming you know how to insert the batteries…I know how you Repubs hate science and stuff.

  10. Whats up with all the horrible unjustified stereotypes? Ron was being sarcastic, but it’s apparent you can’t tell because you’re too daft. Fox is unique in that they report on news that matters, not just the news that makes Obama look good. So in that sense, there is no other network like Fox. If you care about news that matters, there is no other network.
