Tiger Woods’ critics pop up in Apple’s App Store for iPhone and iPod touch

Hammacher Homepage 300x250“With the number of Tiger Woods’ mistresses multiplying by the day, chatter about the scandalized golf star is popping up everywhere–including in reviews for his iPhone game, Tiger Woods PGA Tour [US$4.99],” Elizabeth Woyke reports for Forbes.

“In the wake of the scandal, the app’s ‘customer reviews’ section has attracted several comments that allude to Woods’ woes. Most attempt humorous commentary, such as, ‘This update is more stable than [Woods’] personal life is.’ Another user made a reference to the ‘Tiger Woods unlockable pimp hat’ as a ‘nice [game] bonus,'” Woyke reports.

“The iPhone game allows users to play as or against Woods on famous golf courses such as Pebble Beach; the game comes complete with 3-D graphics and play-by-play commentary,” Woyke reports. “EA, which also produces versions of the game for game consoles… is–like Woods’ other business partners–standing by the athlete. ‘Our strong relationship with Tiger for more than a decade remains unchanged…we respect Tiger’s privacy…and we look forward to seeing him back on the golf course,’ the company said in a statement.”

  1. @Gregg

Always can depend on the apologists to jump first on this scumbag. All the usual networks immediately start defending his behavior, saying his sponsors will stick with him, its normal, all OK, will blow over, etc.

More dirt coming out over this grease ball every day, and guys like Gregg start giving him a pass because he is good at golf.

He is a liar, a cheater, acts like a baby when caught, brings all this down on his kid.

What a loser. His family is more important than his stupid fscking gold, you dumbasses.

  2. Hey when you are blinded by your ‘manlove’ for a successful sports/media figure all semblance of rational thinking always goes out the door, not to mention out of the driveway and straight into the path of a speeding water hydrant. That said what’s the game like?

  3. Woman seen being carried out of Tiger’s home on advanced life support … i.e. she had an IV attached to a bottle of Absolute. LOL. That crowd of hotly dressed women crowed on the street was not your off the shelf gawkers, it was Tiger’s lovers waiting for the all-clear from the ambulance driver.

  4. @y
actually, i think x is right on, minus the language. kinda like what tigerweeds said, but…a little more mature.

side note: I just got the same mw twice in a row. is reality imploding on itself?
