RadioShack to sell Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS

Apple Online Store As part of its ongoing mobility strategy, RadioShack on Friday announced that it will introduce Apple’s iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in a limited number of U.S. company-owned stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth and New York City metropolitan areas beginning later this month.

RadioShack expects to introduce iPhone in stores across the U.S. in 2010.

Operating from neighborhood and mall locations, RadioShack currently has approximately 4,470 company-operated stores, 1,300 dealer outlets, and nearly 450 wireless phone kiosks throughout the U.S.A.

  3. The nice thing about radio shack is you’ll be able to play with a Pre, for example, side by side with an iphone. Maybe a Droid, too?
    But I have to agree with you we’re pretty much at the saturation point. ie, more outlets probably won’t increase sales much.
