Apple’s online store is currently offline, displaying the familiar message that often, but not always, precedes new product additions:
We’ll be back soon. We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly.
Update: 4:45pm EDT: The Apple Store is now back online with nothing new readily apparent at first glance. Very funny, Steve.

Finally! Apple tv 3
iMacs and minis? I need to buy a mini anyway….
Oooohhhhh…..
Here they come…
Ahhhhhhh
Of course, we’d all love to see the holy Grail. No, not the tablet, the other holy Grail: the mid size headless mac for consumers.
Damn! And I thought it was Friday. Must be a Tuesday. What a bummer.
Woo-hoo!! New iMacs!
mystery of mysteries..

New Final Cut Studio + ??? (I just recd an email about the FCS upgrade)
Things just get curiouser and curiouser.
Please please please new iMacs with advanced specs!
Updates on a Friday? A little unusual.
was 4gb memory standard on the iMac yesterday?
samething on the Canadian store…
I hope it is for update the price to be consistent with the Canadian dollar.
I’m always amused by the phone number they put up when they do this. Makes me want to call them up and chat… “So, new iMacs?”
Hmmm… I just popped onto the iMac website and something has changed, but I can’t put my finger on it.
Hopefully they didn’t tell Hitachi Data Systems them they could do a SAN upgrade without a backup… Danger, Sidekick, Danger! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
I’d be surprised if it’s new iMacs or Minis without a media event.
Supposed to be an Apple counterattack when Windoze7 debuts Oct 22 — that’s next Thursday.
Do they have time still to send out invites to a media event before next Thursday?
There will NEVER be a “headless, expandable, midtower” Mac. Get over it already. It will NEVER happen. Apple would never do something so utterly stupid and asinine as to cater to 1000 geeks and tinkerers.
Still offline in my neck of the woods . . .
I hope there is something for $100 or less. I just got my rebate check from buying a MBP and it’s burning a hole in my pocket. Oh crap! that’s my Bic!!!
Cinema Display that works with the less than one year old Macs??
An adapter that lets the NEW Cinema Display work with the slightly older Macs??
