  1. Yes, iPad/iTab appears to be pushed to next year. But we know that an iPod refresh will not carry this event on its own. So, here’s what I expect/want…

    * Apple TV – refresh would be cool. I’ve been waiting to get one… it’s been stale for a long time. Add capacity and I’m in, but I’d like web browsing (with Flash!).

    * iTunes 9 – absolutely. Even it’s really iTunes 8.3, they’re not going to miss the 9/9/09 opportunity. And there are obvious features that will be added – organize apps on iPhone iPod touch screens, social networking, interactive albums.

    * Music – already mentioned interactive albums with iTunes 9. Beatles? Well, they’re coming to iTunes one way or another, now or later. Steve is such a music fan, if he had the opportunity to make a Beatles announcement, he’d do it… forget everything else. Yes, he’s a business person… but there are a few celebrities he’d throw logic out the window for and Paul & Ringo would definitely do it. And by the way, it wouldn’t be illogical since every media outlet would cover it and they’d sell a bunch of stuff (there are a lot of people beyond the “who are The Beatles?” tech blog readers).
