  1. Although a little disappointed, I’ve never felt like Apple was betraying me for dropping PPC support. I know it’s simply their way of progressing, and it benefits us all in the long run.

I would love to replace my old Macs, but finances won’t currently allow it. But, it’s not like my old gear running Leopard is really a hardship; it’s still pretty darn sweet.

  2. Ah yes, the “turri-bull” hardship of using Leopard…. LMAO!!!

My G5 died 4 times, 3 times was brought back to life by AppleCare, but the 4th time, I sold it to someone who probably swapped out the motherboard or parted it out. But I can’t say I didn’t get great use out of it, no sir, I worked that horse to an early grave, I’m sure of it.

  3. noooo! it won’t run on my _______! whaaaaa!

get over it, the computer isn’t ruined by this. my wife is on a G4 ibook and the kid have an emac for crying out loud! and they both still run just fine thanks. Yes Snow will make my macbook better and i am glad of that, but it doesn’t make the old machines suddenly break… grow up.

  4. I don’t know if this has been pointed out, but Exchange support is only for Exchange 2007 with SP1/Roll Up from 8/17, just 11 days ago. It’s highly unlikely that your IT team has upgraded unless they’re all using Macs and just bought Snow Leopard (like in my office).
