  1. Better lines for the second one:

“I’m animated now so I can do anything.”

“That’s cool PC! Does that mean you can fix Vista?”

“That’s crazy talk. I may be animated but I’m not Steve Jobs.”

  2. @ Jump:

Great minds think alike, that was the same punch line I thought of when the ad started to play:
“That’s cool PC! Does that mean you can fix Vista?”

Probably to harsh for the Holiday message, however true it may be.

  3. Or perhaps “That’s crazy talk. The next release will fix things… Maybe” with “Mac” grimacing skeptically.

I liked “I can do anything” more than “Tree trimming”. It might have been better had the “PC RULES” lights “broken” by, say, having the “PC” lights turn upside down, or – better – having one or more letters “crash”.

  4. We don’t get to see these ads on the TV here in Britain but the puzzling thing is that Microslop are showing their ‘I’m a PC’ ads which leaves people scratching their heads. Nobody realises what they’re supposed to be in response too especially when the opening line is “Hello, I’m a PC and I’ve been stereotyped.”

Another example of MS’s fine attention to detail I suppose.
