Apple has released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.2 which extends RAW file compatibility for Aperture 2 and iPhoto 08 for the following cameras:

• Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n
• Nikon D700
• Olympus EVOLT E-420
• Olympus EVOLT E-520
• Olympus SP-570
• Samsung GX-10
• Samsung GX-20
• Sony DSLR-A300
• Sony DSC-R1

Updates arrive by the hour. Like I have nothing else to do… Maybe so.
I hope this fixes the problem I have been having with all files from my SXi where the vanish after editing in iPhoto

Thank you Apple for finally supporting the Sony DSC-R1 two years after the camera was discontinued. Still, I’m glad to finally be able to process these images without photoshop.
The warm feeling I get when someone is thoughtful enough to say thank you for having been helped far outweighs the empty one I get when there’s no feedback at all.
