Apple today released Lexmark Printer Driver 1.1.
The Lexmark Printer Driver Update includes the latest drivers for printers you have used on your system.
This update is available via Software Update and will only be visible if the printer is connected to your computer or a print queue has been created for an earlier version.
Lexmark Printer Driver 1.1 is also available as a 71MB standalone installer.

so does this mean that my dell printer (made by lexmark) will now work?
do you suppose this one phones home like other lexmark printers?. anyone who has used zonealarm at one time knows that lexmarkapps sends back usage data to themselves
My old Lexmark printer didn’t work with Leopard. Would this have made it work? ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grrr” style=”border:0;” />
It’s gonna get to the point where all of the darn printer drivers take up as much room as the operating system.
Weird. I only have an Epson printer, but the HP driver update showed up and the Lexmark one did not. I’m not sure why the HP one did. I don’t remember ever connecting it to a HP printer.
Weird.
STOP THE PRESSES!
Lexmark printers and Macs.
That’s like a pine tree shaped cardboard air freshener in a BMW.
Sure, you can do it. The question is why? (If that’s all your employer has in the office, you are excused.)
I hope this makes AAPL stock go up.
“I hope this makes AAPL stock go up.”
As stupid as the stock market is, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Those scumbags sold me a 6300 all-in-one (which worked great) but then refused to issue a Leopard update. Nothing’s changed in the new drivers. Never again.
