Users drool over Apple iPhone, but ask for more

“Enthusiastic new iPhone owners are starting to sound like the cast of long-running stage musical: ‘I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change,'” Sinead Carew reports for Reuters.

“Only days after snapping up the latest iPhone, they still glow over their purchase — but already are brainstorming ideas Steve Jobs could use for Apple Inc’s next iPhone,” Carew reports.

“In comparison to last year’s model, the latest iPhone’s snappier Web speeds, better sound quality, location-aware navigation, and third-party application store left new owners with no doubts that waiting in line for hours was worth it,” Carew reports. “But even the happiest among them offered tips for improvements for the iPhone — at heart a powerful computer and communications device.”

“A common one was about the inability to copy and paste text on the iPhone,” Carew reports.

  1. >MacBill, I think I have what you’re looking for. It’s called a MacBook Air.

You really think he should use a mini notebook as a mobile phone?

And nope, your joke wasn’t funny. Step off Steve’s lap.

  2. @ Sir Gill Bates……

I contacted colorwarepc support and they stopped coloring the iphone because of the new in-store activation rule. So until Apple and AT&T;cool down and allow people to buy online or in the store but activate later colowarepc will only be selling and coloring the ipod touch.

  3. Surprised no one is mentioning this one…. reminder beeps when you’ve missed a call or message. As it stands now, when I miss a call, I’ve really missed it. No way can I remember to check in with my phone after being away from it for a few minutes. Hell, a smart phone is supposed to remind ME, not the other way around.

  4. @Big Al,
That’s a great idea! You should patent it and get to work right away on it.
The app could be called….iCall….iCome (or alternate spelling)….HookCall….iBlow? And, of course, there would be the pro version of it – iSpitz(er).

  5. I guess I’m waiting for iPhone v3.0…

Because I have a MacBook Pro that does more than the iPhone and a $30 flip phone that only uses less than $14 a month in minutes.

    Beat that Apple!! PLEASE!! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />

  6. Apple has already said that the copy/paste thing is not a priority.
So we’ll just have to wait for that. Besides the more bloated features are put on the iPhone the less battery power you are going to have to run them. I think that’s what Apple is more concerned about right now. You can’t put everything in all at once anyways.
