RUMOR: Apple’s next-gen iPhone to be 22-percent thinner with 3G and GPS

Wired’s Leander Kahney claims to have a “hot tip from a programmer at a major software publisher who claims to have seen the specs” for Apple’s next-gen iPhone, including:

• 3G
• GPS
• 2 x memory (16GB and 32GB)
• 22 percent thinner
• Better battery life

  1. I’m not going to bother reading rumors about WWDC and the iPhone anymore. It’s next week, so I’m just going to wait and see what Apple pulls out of their hat ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />

  2. Well to me that would be the perfect iPhone. We all know about 3G coming, but GPS and 32GB would finish off my V2.0 wish list. Being thinner and having better battery life is just icing on the cake.

  3. I’d expect nothing less from Apple. They consistently deliver better, thinner products all the time. Look at the history of the iPod…….

    I’m just waiting for the software for my OLD iPhone……

  4. It will also be powered by a nuclear fusion reactor that emits no waste.

    In other words, I’ll wait until it is announced, and believe it when they announce it.
