“T-Mobile expects to remain the only seller of Apple’s coveted iPhone in Germany, T-Mobile Chief Executive Hamid Akhavan said on Tuesday,” Niclas Mika and Nicola Leske report for Reuters.
“‘We have a very good relationship with Apple…at least in Germany it is exclusive, and we expect it to remain as such,’ Akhavan told the Reuters Technology, Media and Telecoms Summit in Paris,” Mika and Leske report. “‘If and when there is a 3G iPhone we expect to have it exclusively in Germany as well,’ [Akhavan also said.”

Yawn… MDN, give us some false rumors instead!!! I need a good laugh today.
Please please Apple do not, I repeat DO NOT give exclusivity to friggin T-Mobile, they have only sold a handful of iPhones in Germany, they clearly dont know what they are doing.
Apple hasn´t a clue about the market or marketing in Germany.
Either with the iPhone or its computers.
82,000,000 people in Germany, not one Apple store, you can not buy an iPhone via the German Apple website.
“82,000,000 people in Germany, not one Apple store”
This is the sad truth.
T-Mobile seems intent on [financially] raping the German people with their ridiculous iPhone contracts. Compare Germany’s T-Mobile iPhone contracts with neighboring Austria’s T-Mobile iPhone contracts. In addition the roaming charges are outrageous.
oh no! there goes my 3g iphone.
I was expecting this news, but was not sure when.
Thanks,
Rahul D.
