Apple to open Liverpool superstore

“Digital technology giant Apple is to open a superstore in the Liverpool One development,” The Liverpool Daily Post reports.

“Grosvenor has kept the news under wraps for months but has now confirmed that one of the most sought-after retail brands in the world the has agreed to launch a new store in the city,” LDP reports.

“The shops themselves are created with all sorts of trendy features such as metallic walls and signage lighting. Sales of computers, software and accessories are complemented by studios, theatres and an ipod bar,” LDP reports.

  1. Wake up Apple ! We need more stores elsewhere than US and UK !!!
C’mon Apple, you should have your presence in each country of the world.
Even if we’re talking about small or very tiny retailer stores, or local partners.

  2. Not much of a secret, it was known that Apple was opening a store here in Liverpool months ago!

Will have somewhere to go and browse round during lunch now! all but 30 seconds away from the office.

The main anchor stores of John Lewis and Debenhams are due to open May 29th, The Disney Store is also relocating and told me they hope to be in for end of May also so me think it will be open sooner rather than the end of Sept when the whole scheme is due to be opened.
Nobody can get access to any part of the site (this is a £1bn project, so site is huge) to find out if anyone else is shopfitting.

    Keep you posted though!
