  1. Intel integrated graphics not supported… that leaves me out, and a lot of others I know who might have bought this game to run on their MacBooks.

Also doesn’t work on a PowerPC Mac.

Since the Mac marketshare is so small to begin with, why make your product incompatible with a very large portion of it?

  2. Well, it’s about effin’ time!!! I don’t play computer games often, but when I do this is pretty much the only one.
I hope we don’t have to wait too long for the MOB expansion pack, which has already been out for a couple of years…
    Hurrah!!!

  3. My 2 cents: I completely agree. I understand that the game may be “graphically intense” and its entirely possible it just can’t physically be run on the lesser machines (although I would debate this point as well is pressed ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />). Even so, one would think this sort of demographic research would have been done before they started porting the game, instead of spending countless hours and dollars porting a game that only a fraction of the Mac community can run, which represents even a smaller fraction of all computer users…

  4. The original (last) version of the game works great on my MacBook. Can’t they make the graphics a little less intense and make this one work as well? So many people are getting MacBooks (they are great machines!) why don’t game manufacturers create games for “the masses” of Mac users?

Ok – I’ll get off my soap box now.

  5. The Windows version, which has been out for a year or so now, along with 1 expansion pack is total crap.

I doubt the Mac version would be any better.

NWN2 has a next to useless toolset and relies on NWN1 for online Persistant World Multiplayer gaming.

Also NWN2 destroyed magic users by turning them into something closer to a fighter by making them more able in melee combat.

Although I can’t run NWN2 the only way I would buy it is to help support games on the Mac platform as well as the fact I don’t have an Intel Mac yet, so can’t run NWN2 due to that factor as well.

  6. @Reclaimer

Good old Diablo II LOD…picked up the game again on fullscreen 24inch iMAC. Like you, don’t believe NWN can beat them on graphics…don’t even mention game play. Instead of installing NWN will satisfy to play from time to time Diablo II and hoping that Blizzard will come one day with III..
