  1. I have all of the Top Gear episodes on dvds. Took me forever and a day to get them via BT.

I still watch Top Gear when they come out on BBC America but they edit most the best parts like the news and any funny comments before and after they show their video clips.

Also, when they them on BBC America, the so-called “new episodes” are at 2 seasons behind. AARRGGGHHH!!!

Feels good to have the real thing tucked away in my dvd case.

  2. “I’d pay for Fawlty Towers.”

I have paid for Farty Towels for years.
Mainly by using anecdotal quotes that caused recipients to reply with a blank stare with a hint of a “is he off his meds again” concern in their eyes….and DON”T mention the war!

  3. About bloomin’ time! This suggestion has been made to the BCC over and over again.

There’s a whole world of revenue waiting to be tapped. But in the UK that won’t involve us paying less to the BBC for our TV licenses. The little shits are in charge.

  4. Top Gear!!!!!! The very best automobile related TV program ever in history. I can’t believe that Speed Channel hasn’t figured it out. Except that it would show up every single program on their station as true rubbish.
    5th Gear was/is good too!!!

Just my opinion – but it is fact!

  5. I’ve already got every Monty Python EVERYTHING on DVD and Fawlty Towers, too.

    What else is there?
3 decades of Dr. Who? HAH.
    Black Adder? Maybe.
    Brit-coms? Spare me the agony.

Put any POS on PBS and just because the actors have British accents, it suddenly becomes “high art”.

I don’t think so. I call that Masterpiece Theatre Syndrome.
