“We on the Mac team love code. Nothing helps as much as some working sample code when you’re trying to get something done — well, maybe with the exception of some working code that you can use within your own projects. To that end, we’re happy to release Google Toolbox for Mac as a new open source project. This joins the Google Data APIs Object-C Library as code available under the Apache license so you can use it in your own projects,” Tom Van Lenten writes for The Official Google Mac Blog.
“This first release is a little eclectic. It starts with some simple utilities that we seem to need in just about every project, helpers for graphical things and for building unittests. In time, we’ll add more utilities, more interesting and complex classes, and other interesting stuff,” Van Lenten writes.

Yeah, yeah. I’m not falling for Google raiding my hard drive.
Google might also want to think about trying to get gMail to function in Safari 3. It’s always nice to be able to have access to one’s email.
Hmmm… I wasn’t aware that gMail wasn’t functioning in Safari 3. <sigh> Why am I always the last to know?
Gmail works great for me in Safari 3.0.4. It also got a nice upgrade recently on the iPhone. No complaints here.
Needs more snappyness.
He said toolbox.
Gmail works fine for me, too. Safari 3.04/MBP 17″
Hmmm… there was a bar in West Hollywood called the Toolbox, right down Santa Monica from one called the Jobsite. NTTAWWT.
Gmail on my 1.1.3 iPhone’s Maill.app is amazing. It’s automatically an IMAP service, so everything’s kept in sync. Now if I could only get the same synchronization with the calendar…
Don’t do it Google. Somebody might use the code and write something that could bring down the Internet! At least if you think along the lines of Steve. Closed development good. Open development bad.
Seriously. This is good news. Hey Google, how about a nice project management app for Google Apps?
Anything that promotes development on the Mac is good news in my book.
And yeah, have never had any issues with gMail from my mac or iphone…
