I’ve never knowingly slept with a Windows user either, except my wife, but she’s now fully converted to the Mac. Hallelujah!

Last week- I touched a Windows machine… I had to help my sister remove several spyware, scareware and virus programs on her new Compaq/HP laptop that she got only a month ago. I felt dirty so I’m repenting.
I’ve also knowingly slept with Windows users.
This will not help.
Forgive me Father Jobs, for I have sinned as well. I helped 2 Windoze sufferers over the weekend. They are part of a group of friends, some of whom I have converted to Mac. But these lost sheep need you divine guidance.
I will serve my penance by demonstrating the holy Mac to said heathens. I shall spread thyne word and never miss the opportunity to say “You wouldn’t have this problem on a Mac”. Thank you, Father. I am unworthy.

If these people think they’re doing the ‘Mac community’ a favor by producing a movie like this (just think of the movie ‘Trekkies’) they are quite sadly mistaken.
It’s bad right from the get go. This poor lady talks about her dead father and a picture of a monkey pops up on the screen.

Now that the platform is becoming popular again, we’ll have to move on. It’s just not cool anymore now that EVERYONE has an Apple product, in fact, it’s pretty passé. Pens and notepads are the new zeitgeist…

I admit the trailer has a strange mix of characters, but I honestly thought this was going to be a pro-Mac comunity type movie. Was I mistaken? Is this really going to be about making us look like freaks? I hope not, cuz I just advertised that movie on my MUG’s mailing list.

I think you all are taking this thing a bit to seriously. The trailer looks cute and it brought a smile to my face. If we can’t make fun of ourselves we are no better than Windows users.

Just like any other extreme, it can get pretty freaky.
The production qualities all looked reasonable, except for the choice of font. Made it look like it was make with Windows Movie Maker (maybe I’m agreeing with the MDN take).
On the face of it, MDN is right. It’s a movie designed to make us look like diphead cultists.
If it were not for the fact that our “movement” is based on excellent computer technology, I might care.
