After installing, I was able to drive the Rubicon in my two wheel drive Yugo…
My useless dock stacks aren’t any snappier.
Tested it on the glossy iMac’s, yep, screen is still shiny.
This won’t take the shine off Christmas. I like shine, sunshine, shoe-shine, Mac-shine.
@ ron
How about moonshine? MMMMMM

Apple MacBook, iMac screens too glossy? Apply inexpensive non-glare film
With continued reassurances from MDN that Macs are NOT subject to any security issues, bugs, worms, snakes, trojans, or other nasties… I will ignore this ‘update’ like I have all the others before.
Hey, MDN… why do you think Steve keeps putting these things out? Is he crazy or something!

Oh geez. Looks like it’s C1’s time of the moth again.
By what logic to you get from:
Macs are far more secure than Windows
to:
Macs are 100% secure?
If I told you that my car gets far better gas mileage than a Humvee fully loaded with passengers and luggage, would you assume that my car could go for thousands of miles on a gallon of gas?
What the hell kind of name is “ChrissyOne”. I know… proudly stands for Ball Buster. Pathetic.
Some moths are worse than others.

MatteBoy – If you don’t like the screen, why did you buy one?
There are other options.
@Peterson
What?
Call the papers! There goes Moth Boy again!
What was wrong with 2007-009 1.0?????
There was a bug in the Safari that came with it.
@ Peterson

Sorry, I forgot that you can’t count that high. >.<
Seems like this security update is updating a lot of the same things as the last recent update. I wonder if they figured out that their last fix wasn’t perfect? They are so picky on details, for our benefit.
Anyone who doesn’t install Apples software updates doesn’t trust Apple, and therefore, should not buy one.
@C1… I think this version of peterson just might be an innocent bystander, and not our original peterson. He doesn’t carry the same vitriol as the original, or the same bite to his sarcasm.
‘Course he could just start talking about “trusted computing” and then it would settle things.
You might be right… my idiot detector might need calibrating. I’ll go test it over on CNET.
What’s is like installing the fixes for the patches that patch the updates which fixed the patch on you MAC? Wait another day and there will be another fix for updates. Typical Apple—rushing incomplete and poorly tested products on a vulnerable and unsuspecting public.
Oh well, back to my xBox.
Your potential. Our passion.™
The security content of v1.1 is the same as v1.0, but there was apparently a Safari issue introduced with v1.0 that v1.1 fixes. That’s all the technote says.
