  1. Who didn’t see this coming?

The US economy is headed for a recession, the “reality distortion field” must be projected to protect the Apple universe and profits.

There is only one man who can do that.

Expect good things, expect to regret your holiday purchases. hehe.

  2. I’ve watched every MacWorld keynote since Steve came back in 1997. I also had the opportunity to attend MacWorld and watch him live back in 2005. Waited in-line from 4 am with my daughter. It was a trip we’ll never forget (we’re from Halifax, Nova Scotia).

Notwithstanding all of the fabulous products Apple produces, Steve Jobs is hands down the greatest strategic business mind I’ve ever witnessed. His ability to clearly and concisely inform the customers and shareholders the vision of where Apple is going is nothing short of spectacular.

I’m sorry to say I won’t be there in person this year, but you can bet I’ll be watching the QT video as soon as its available.

And for all you folks who will be there in person, enjoy yourselves. It will be awesome!!

  3. Apple TV and Macmini morph/merge. 10″ Macbook with flashRAM. AAPL hits 200 after record Macbook and iPod sales. That’s my prediction. Maybe a more snappier iPhone/iPod touch with an Intel mobile processor, better camera, and more capacity. A zoomable iSight camera with flash would be nice. Illuminated keyboard on the low end Macs across the board.

  4. I predict a boring Macworld with some sales data and some iTMS additions.

There will be a brief mention of the iPhone SDK progress and new iPhone software but no mention of a G3 iPhone.

No Mac iTablet, no new hardware to speak of. The one more thing will be the .Mac update that few of us are looking forward to.

Macworld week would probably be a good time to go on a Caribbean or Mediterranean Cruise.

  5. Phineas…

    Get a Sony Bravia KDL-XBR4 or XBR5, 40″, 46″ and 52″ size.
    I’ve got last year’s 40″ XBR3.

I plug my MacBook Pro into the PC Input, sit back with my Apple Wireless Keyboard… the new tiny one!.. and it looks amazing.

  6. Apple should merge an TV, an Airport Extreme and a Mac mini and bundle it with the Wireless Keyboard and Mighty Mouse. THAT would be a killer machine! It would be the perfect mini media server. Strap it to the back of your Full-HDTV and you’re DONE.

I HOPE Apple finally refreshes their line of displays. We need faster refresh rates, built-in iSight and maybe even (preferably) LED backlighting.

A MacBook mini would be great. Add a docking station to go with it… a resurrected Mac Duo.

  7. I predicted that Steve Jobs will be the keynote speaker on MacWorld Expo. I’m just amazed that I’ve been right 10 years straight! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
