“The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index ($COMPQ: 2,596.60, +34.45, +1.3%) jumped more than 1.3% to close at 2,596.60,” Gallagher reports.
“Apple Inc. (AAPL: $171.54, +3.08, +1.8%) gained 1.8% by the close,” Gallagher reports.
