USA Today: With Leopard, Apple’s already superior Mac OS X widens lead over Microsoft’s Windows

“Long before Leopard pounced onto the scene, I rated OS X superior to Windows for most consumers. With Leopard, Apple’s operating system widens its lead aesthetically and technologically,” Edward C. Baig reports for USA Today.

“I migrated to Leopard from the last OS X version, Tiger, without pain on a MacBook laptop and my own iMac desktop; there’s mercifully none of the software driver and other hassles associated with a Windows operating system upgrade. Leopard was pre-installed on an iMac that Apple provided for testing,” Baig reports.

In his full review, Baig covers:
• Time Machine
• iChat
• Mail
• Dock
• Finder
• Quick Look
• Spaces
• Dashboard Web Clip

Baig reports, “hese and other features should satisfy new and old Mac fans. Leopard is one cool cat.”

  2. Ah… Cubert? Inhibition of Acetylcholinesterase lowers its levels. Being the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine, this means that ACh levels increase. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter involved with memory, alertness and cognitive focus. Lower ACh levels are part of the Alzheimer’s picture, along with others, such as impaired ACh reception due to the accumulation of amyloid plaques in brain neurons.

    Medical correctness is good!

  3. Yes, tomorrow Ballmer will announce that everything done in Leopard is derivative of the new system that M$ will release in 3 years pending a complete rewrite of Vista directly into machine language to avoid all that overhead of Visual Basic that they’ve been using ever since he wanted to “see the code.”

This new version of Windoze will be called Leotard and their new slogan will be “We opened Vistas, now we’ll wrap your machine sleek and cuddly.” What innovation!
