Oh boy – oh joy!!!!
things gonna run smoothly-ier!
sm
so not for aluminum iMacs?
Anyone get the feeling something big software wise (OS 10.5) is close to arriving? Why all the firmware updates at once unless there is some major software that needs the firmware to be updated.
The Dude abides.
I’m with The Dude on this one.
I have a similar question as Hayden
Does this effect “core duo” ?? or just the plastic core duo?
and how do you find what is the current firmware for your Mac?
@The Dude, I hope not, if my iMac is left out,lol
Apple likes to release OS’s on Fridays, right?
This has got to be Leopard Boot Camp compatibility. Otherwise, we’d see some PPC updates too, methinks.
Get ready y’all!
The EFI update installer info says that it was created on August 14, and it’s only getting out today. Agree that Leopard’s release looks imminent.
My snap is snappier!
So what are these “issues” that have been addressed? I can’t seem to find any definitive source as to what the firmware update specifically fixes/improves.
I personally have given up on boot camp 1.3 and 1.4 betas due to problems with my wireless Mighty Mouse and keyboard not connecting on boot (despite following the instructions to the letter) not that a CPU update is going to fix that anyway ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />
