Stuff Magazine reviews Apple iPhone: ‘It feels like you are holding the future’ – 5 out of 5 stars

“Apple has succeeded in crafting a unique phone that is superior to everything else on the market. In one great leap Apple has rewritten the rules for mobile web browsing, invented a completely new touch-sensitive interface, and evolved the iPod,” Stuff Magazine reports.

“In the hand, the iPhone oozes sexiness; its wide, high-resolution screen is encircled by a halo of chrome and wrapped on its back side by cool brushed metal. When you hold it, it’s thinner and lighter than pictures would suggest: it feels like you are holding the future,” Stuff Magazine reports.

  1. I would hope the iPhone is not on par with a Blackberry. That would mean they’re equal.

Blackberry et. al., have had their day in the sun.

They’ve already been eclipsed and don’t even know it.

  2. justified’s comment means very very good news for the AAPL stock, since the only potentially valid complaint about the iPhone itself seems to be the one about not being able to type on it as well as on a Blackberry, for example. If consumer preference for the touch screen proves out, then this is very very bad news for other manufacturers such as RIMM and MOT, unless they can bring out new models that have touch screens.
So the FUD about iPhone not having a keyboard (BBC comment) is going to be seen to be so much hot air, disinformation, if you will.
The main point about no buttons is that the iPhone keyboard can be amended in software, whereas its competitors are all stuck with bringing out new models with new buttons. This will put them way behind the iPhone as new features emerge thereon. So thank you justified for bringing us all this good news.

  3. “…it feels like you are holding the future”? I say Apple bribed the reviewer with a Zune and 25 Zune Marketplace points to write that garbage. Nobody likes or has even heard of the iPhone. The IT guys where I work don’t want to have anything to do with it so you know it sucks.

C’mon. The future has come and gone and you Apple lemmings know it. The Zune has been out mid November—that was when the world got a glimpse of the future. Everything else since then is a Zune wannabe. Where’s the iPhone points? I rest my case.

    Your potential. Our passion.™
