MacDailyNews Note: Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
you guessed it
THIS ONE GOES MUCH MUCH HIGHER!!!!!!!!!!!!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
Guess that means the animals around here will have the run of the place.
Let me begin, I want a better iPhone and a matte screen black MacBook. Now.
Now now now now now!
Yeah, I’m feeling roWdy, too. Matte screens are totally civilized… and things. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”blank stare” style=”border:0;” />
Arrrrgheeeeeoooooweeeewaaaawow!
Steve Jobs says Apple has new products in the pipeline. Unlike Bill Gates these probably aren’t empty words. This will further fuel the shares.
Not again!
MDN thinks that this is some kind of news?
Wake me up when it is up to $200.
Guy from Finland….
Are you really complaining? You seem put off by having read that headline again… for the 10th time this month. Is that a waste of time for you?
Is it more of a waste of time that clicking the link, typing out “wake me up when it hits 200” and then typing in the magic word then hitting submit.
I just don’t understand why people can’t just look past the articles they aren’t interested in..
I, for one, hope to see this headline at 4:01 … every.. single.. trading.. day.
.. and FWIW, this is wrong, 113.62 is not an all time high. It closed at 115 on the 23rd.
MW taken, as in had they taken two seconds to read the 52-week high they would have realized that it was 115, not 113.62.
One guy from Finland:
Yeah we’ll make sure we do that, your highness.
It has not closed at 115.
100 bill, can’t you just smell it

Just remember… all of this is leading up to the developer’s conference. Once product announcements have been made, the share price will traditionally drop as investor’s expectations are reduced until the next round of announcements. Apple equities are very volatile because of this.
macromancer,
It was an intraday high of 115, not a closing value.
No dinner for Ballmer’s uncle.
MDN word: sense. As in “makes sense”
“It was an intraday high of 115, not a closing value.”
Then tell that to CBS Marketwatch. An intraday is not usually considered a 52-week high but that’s what they have listed.
Where’s that Citibank analyst that said Apple was over priced at the mid-90’s?
I think he told his clients to sell.
I hope the investors at Citibank that listened called their broker to complain.
macromancer:
Is an intraday value more or less worth/meaningful than a closing value?
At the closing price of $113.62 and 886.65 million shares outstanding, it CURRENTLY has a market capitalization of just OVER $100 BILLION!!!!! check your math MDN.
Uh oh!!! It looks like MDN is taking the weekend off! That can only mean two things. We should all be on suicide alert for our Mac rumors-addicted friends (including yourselves!) and that the gratuitous porn postings will begin in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,……
“
Is an intraday value more or less worth/meaningful than a closing value?”
Not saying it’s bad, but as a matter of protocol, it’s the closing values that are usually used to benchmark the 52-week (or in this case all time ) highs.
Trust me, im not complaining it was at 115, ive got plenty of AAPL. Just saying as a matter of protocols an intraday price is not used as a 52-week high.
SONY COPIES IPOD NANO WITH APPLE’S BLESSING

Well, then all your former news about the “all-time closing high” were a lie. This is cheap sensational journalism…
Provide proof that it will never go higher in future, otherwise do not use that term anymore.
I assume the message is clear without shooting over the target like you did the last couple of days, MDN
After apple reinvents the phone, its time to reinvent the printer, the digital camera, the scanner and the disk drive.
Update to my posting as I cannot edit it anymore:
I checked the dictionary now and found that it is a fixed term in banking…
Oops, sorry, I didn’t know that this weird term truly exists.
