“Apple placed an initial order for 15.4-inch LED backlight displays last month, targeting a June announcement that would make availability of a new laptop on or within days of Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ Worldwide Developers Conference keynote on June 11,” Think Secret reports.
“Apple’s order for the displays called on a delivery schedule of mid May, sources say. As for MacBooks with 13.3.-inch LED backlight, Think Secret reports that Apple is “targeting a third-quarter rollout of the low-end laptop.”
