“Apple continues to engage in its spring cleaning online, furnishing a few small tweaks to its online Apple Store,” Jonny Evans reports for Macworld UK.
“The company has quietly added a few handy features into a blue menu bar situated just underneath the generic site-wide menu,” Evans reports.
“The navigation links include a direct link to the front page of the store, signified by Apple’s generic ‘home’ icon,” Evans reports.
“Links to let customers view their shopping cart, check their order status, reach customer service and the Apple Store telephone number are also now visible at the top of the page,” Evans reports.

MacDailyNews Note: Apple also recently redesigned the Support section of Apple.com.
so f-ing what!
All in preparation for new and groovy products????
They were overdue for a tweak or two.
It could use a touch of garland and some potpourri.
blinky needs a nappy-poo
The pinstripes and tabs on the Apple site look “dated”. Apple should update the site to match the look of Tiger (or Leopard when it comes out).
it needs more cowbell.
Bill
We need to redesign our site… NOW!!!
Noticed this last night when I ordered my Airport Express – streaming iTunes coming to the Cubert Home real soon (and, yes, it is a square house – with no Windoze!!!)
Funny how people feel the need to actually comment on something they don’t think needed to be reported!
I wish Apple made toilet paper….
Yeah, Apple toilet paper to wipe blinky’s little potty mouth.
TowerTone: I think Apple’s already on a roll.
“so f-ing what!”
Hey Blinky,
If this is what you have to contribute, do everyone a favor and take it somewhere else.
@NeverFade
Nice. I agree.
I always liked the apple website, it’s very nice.
This reminds me, MS should bug check their website. I recently applied for internships with a bunch of software companies, such as Apple, Google, Adobe, etc. For some reason, I decided to apply at Microsoft too (you never know, it could lead to better things.) Their job application website sent me through loops, then eventually changed everything into Spanish for no apparent reason. All I did was click next page, and their was no way switch it back to English.
Reminded me, once again, why MS is so lame. Their software sucks!
I have no pants on.
I wish Apple made toilet paper….
…cause Windows is a pain in the ass.
@TowerTone
Chuckle, chuckle. No better way to start the day than with a laugh.

Isn’t it about time for the Apple site to get a new look? It has been the same for years with a few tweaks here and there.
Time for the OS to get a new look. It looks so 5 years ago.
I want all black glass!
“Apple continues sprucing up company website”
I don’t see any trees. Where are the trees?
How is this news? F’ing mac zealots getting all upset when someone says it’s not exciting news. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”mad” style=”border:0;” /> I love Apple but you fanboys cumming in your pants at the slightest visual change to the website really are f’ing lame. What’s more if an M$ fanboy jumped about at some small improvement to the Microstuffed site you’d be the first to insult him.
