“Pupils are downloading the latest revision tips on to their iPods as teachers look for innovative ways to try to help them through their exams,” Gareth Rose reports for The Edinburgh Evening News.
“Inveralmond Community High School in Livingston has become one of the first in the country to try to educate youngsters through podcasts,” Rose reports.

iPods RULE!!
first post yea baby!
Finally some smart educators – I hope there computers are Mac’s
hmmm, I’m still not sure I buy the idea of iPod as learning tool for youngsters…
Ragu, so the Mac would own the computers?
Oh, and you were second you lame ass!

Chill dude. Ragu was 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
I think iPods have potential. Today’s young generation is very different than we were. High Technology is so transparent to them.
The student/iPod post I read last week mentioned how the iPod was already used to keep students several steps ahead-at cheating.
I agree with coolfactor – Kids are bringing their iPod to school anyway so they might as well use them for their schoolwork.
coolfactor thanks for the back up – I guess Emil is not in a very forgiving mood today.

The only way to get kids to learn is to make things relevant in their world. That world now includes iPods and podcasts, so it makes sense to incorporate them into lessons.
