I will use it to control my “Death Star”. It keeps crashing with my Dell under Vista.
Motion 2, FCP 5 HD, Divx Crush, Halo Combat Evolved…
What, no Blue-Ray?
Is this the first-ever 3GHz Mac?
If only I didn’t have to pay off my student loans, then I would get one. And I woud max it out, coming to a grand total of $16,000!
what Ed said…”no Blue Ray”
The reason the UK and Europe are not geting the Octo-core is that they leaked information a couple of weeks ago. This is punishment. They have to wait two weeks now. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
@MarkL
In Excel 2007 my financial models take 1 hour to calc with 1-core, 30 minutes with 2-cores, 15 minutes with 4-core, and would only take 7.5 mins with 8-core.
My daily time saving would be significant.
Fingers crossed that Excel 2008 for Mac is also multi-core.
