Basically we start at the start (not plugged in) and take you through everything there is to see in Apple’s wireless media streamer, including playing back movies, trailers, and music, watching photos, and all those gears in setup and options,” Ryan Block writes for Engadget.

All I see in that video is bad taste (content), the appletv seems stylish though.
What a gorgeous interface! The average Pee-Cee using drone will shit their pants when they walk past an Apple store next week and see this being displayed and demoed.
People are going ga-ga over the Apple TV regardless of what the nay-sayers are saying.
We’re slowly starting to see the migration of computer use from your desk to other parts of the house. It’s the future of computing!
And already the Microdouches are all over engadget saying how MS is “years ahead” with Media Center.
That site is a cesspool.
One big drawback from these systems that use encoded files like those that you purchase from iTunes is that there is no support for Closed Captions. My EyeTV device retains captions, but as soon as we encode to an iPod format, this information is stripped.
I hope that as these devices evolve and push toward the main stream, support for these basic assistive technologies will improve.

I’m still sticking to my prediction that the iPhone will automatically control Apple TV and may be even Front Row. I think the stock remote is so limited for that reason. Betcha betcha!!!

ChrissyOne: I’m betting on that too.
The iPhone will allow for text entry on its virtual keyboard so AppleTV can go direct to iTS and I can search on iTS, and enter my password (if I haven’t set it to remember it).
Also, the next-gen touch-screen iPod will do this as well. So it all ties together.
