Basically we start at the start (not plugged in) and take you through everything there is to see in Apple’s wireless media streamer, including playing back movies, trailers, and music, watching photos, and all those gears in setup and options,” Ryan Block writes for Engadget.

  1. One big drawback from these systems that use encoded files like those that you purchase from iTunes is that there is no support for Closed Captions. My EyeTV device retains captions, but as soon as we encode to an iPod format, this information is stripped.

I hope that as these devices evolve and push toward the main stream, support for these basic assistive technologies will improve.

  2. ChrissyOne: I’m betting on that too.

The iPhone will allow for text entry on its virtual keyboard so AppleTV can go direct to iTS and I can search on iTS, and enter my password (if I haven’t set it to remember it).

Also, the next-gen touch-screen iPod will do this as well. So it all ties together.
